DUO-Onderwijs is an independent and nationwide research and consultancy firm. We have been conducting all kinds of research and working for schools and school relations such as ministries, knowledge centres, charities, publishers and other suppliers since 1995. We help them with research, (communication) advice and the use of media in education. With our team of researchers, educationalists and consultants, we have 1 mission: together we strengthen schools.

• You are ultimately responsible for office, the day-to-day running of the office and you ensure nice working conditions.
• You will spar with the director and team leaders about their ideas on how to develop the company and teams.
• You are ultimately responsible for a human resources policy that does justice to everyone at DUO-Onderwijs and report on it regularly in the MT/TLO (team leaders' meeting).
• You will arrange the recruitment, selection, onboarding of new employees.
• You will support team leaders in development and other discussions with employees.
• You organise get-togethers, team outings and team training sessions.
• You make clear appointments and liaise with all HR and office-related service providers.
• You will support the teams/team leaders in planning their projects and liaise with freelancers assigned to the projects.

• Minimum 5-10 years' work experience in an office and/or HR position.
• An open mind towards employees and an ambition to make them grow.
• And good balance between theoretical background, practical experience and a basic pragmatic attitude.
• Ability and willingness to zoom in and out between daily practice, monthly MT/team leader meetings and annual strategic plans.
• Very good communication skills and the courage to speak your own mind.
• An HBO/WO education
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch language, both orally and in writing.
• Experience with (tools for) HR and office is a must.
• Experience with project planning tools is an advantage.
• You have an affinity with / interest in communication, education and our clientele (knowledge centres, museums, cultural institutions, educational publishers, charities and ministries).
