        Strategic research
        This is how research works

        We would also be happy to help your organisation with research among education professionals: school leaders (directors/principals and team leaders), ICT coordinators, deans, VO teachers (maths, Dutch, history, etc.), teachers in lower/middle/upper primary education, language, maths and culture coordinators in primary education, IB teachers, and so on. It may involve a:

        • brand awareness and image research;
        • investigation of the market opportunities of an educational product/ service (yet to be developed);
        • customer satisfaction survey (among users of a teaching method, digital learning tool or educational product/ service, for example);
        • opinion poll;
        • policy research/policy evaluation;
        • impact measurement.
        Omnibus survey

        Twice a year, in May and November, we conduct Omnibus surveys among school leaders and teachers in primary and secondary education. An efficient and inexpensive way to present your own research questions to a representative target group.

        • Cost-efficient and targeted research
        • Answers to your own questions, with your target audience
        • Reliable and directly applicable results
        Group discussions and in-depth interviews

        We perform for all kinds of organisations qualitative research: group discussions and/or in-depth interviews. Which of these two methods is suitable depends on your research question.

        For example, qualitative research is appropriate if you:

        • want to test an educational concept among teachers;
        • want to evaluate an educational product/ service with students, teachers and/or school leaders;
        • want to test a campaign;
        • want to deepen the results of a quantitative survey (questionnaires administered).

        How it works.

        We take everything off your hands: we draw up (in consultation with you, of course) a list of topics to be covered during the group discussions/in-depth interviews. We recruit the education professionals, pupils/students and/or parents to participate. We conduct the group discussions and/or conduct the in-depth interviews. We prepare a clear report with conclusions and recommendations. We discuss this report in detail.

        Our panels

        We work (among others) with (representative) online panels:

        • primary school teachers (3,000 teachers evenly divided between groups 1/2 to 8)
        • school leaders in primary education (650 school leaders)
        • secondary school teachers (2,500 teachers)
        • secondary school leaders (400 school leaders).

        We regularly approach members of these panels to complete (education-relevant) online questionnaires.

        For other research groups (deans, IB teachers, language/reading/math coordinators, ICT managers, and so on), we put our education database in that contains the names and e-mail addresses of numerous education officials.

        There is no ‘education target group’ that we cannot reach with our panels and education database!
